Who We Are
Originally founded in Worcester by Charles Woolley in 1996, Rectory Food Group is now based in the City Tower building, central Manchester.
In 1998 Nick Bowyer joined the Group as a Director and together with Charles continued to successfully grow and develop the business.
Charles and Nick appointed Carl Scothorne as a third Director and shareholder in 2003 and in January 2010 Mat Armitage was appointed as the companies first Divisional Director in charge of the vegetable, fruit and ingredients division – a department that he founded in August 2008.
Currently, the Group comprises 8 members, each covering distinct areas of product sourcing, manufacturing, storage, marketing and supply: Rectory Foods Ltd, Rectory Foods Ingredients Ltd, The Hot Chicken Company Ltd, Preema Foods Ltd, Woodbury Foods Ltd, Protein Foods Ltd, Equivet Animal Care Products Ltd and UAB Baltreka.
