Rectory Foods supply poultry and meat products in quantities ranging from one mixed pallet up to many full containers.

The Company was founded by Charles Woolley in 1996 and was originally based in Worcester. In 1998 Nick Bowyer joined as a Director and together they continued to successfully grow and develop the operation. Charles and Nick appointed Carl Scothorne in 2003 as a third Director and shareholder.

Together, with the rest of the dedicated team, we have consolidated Rectory Foods position in the market and we continue to build a formidable business, that is now one of the leading operations of its type in the EEC.

The Head Office is located in Cheshire and the company has a number of facilities throughout Europe, and other countries from where product is bought, sold and supplied.

The company recognises that service is key to a business and that is why we operate ISO 9001:2000.

In order to provide clients with the specialist service they require Rectory Foods has divided the trading operation into three departments: Cooked & Further Processed, Raw Imported Meat and the Export Division. Each department is able to supply some, or all of their range, as HALAL certified. We have supplied the Muslim market for a number of years and customers can rest assured that products produced for us and marked as ’HALAL’ have been produced according to the ethical and commercial requirements laid down in Sharia law.

Each department is headed-up by a Director with a team of experts in their particular sector.
